….or ski’s as hubby calls them….

This is showing how I get quilts ready for the quilting process.  I have two long boards [skis] shorter ones also for smaller quilts,  and a roll of wadding and gradually unroll and pin as I go along, sounds complicated but it works for me.

This is Marian’s quilt front/wadding/and quilt backing ready to be pinned.

The next couple of pictures are showing you my machine which I use to do ALL my quilting and customers quilting, I don’t have a quilting frame – I wish – just this machine…. works for me. Do take time to look at the other quilts I have done for people on this Blog to decide if you would like me to do yours for you……I am reasonable with pricing.

I have been told this particular machine has the smallest throat space of all!!!!!!  Hey-ho!!

My machine - a hand's width

My machine – a hand’s width in the ‘angel’ space

You are going so well – I love how you do things…
Don’t worry about the frame – take it from me …I don’t think we really need it lol

    • Joan I can’t wait to see how you get on with the frame, your quilting is amazing already, so wondering what is going to happen now. Still green with envy, mind you I watched a video of how to set it up and thought, uh-uh not for me, not got the patience for all that fiddling. hee hee
