Annette made this quilt with the swap Hexagon rosettes she had received, and when Diane and her Rob saw what she was doing, they fell in love with it, so Annette decided to finish it and give it to them as a gift. It is a Bed Runner, which means it goes at the foot of the bed to keep your feet warm. As she was at the time working every day I offered to quilt it for her. This is the end result…
Here, as a bonus, is a lovely photo of Diane and Rob when they returned from London, after Rob had proposed to her in Hyde Park. Annette and Rebecca met them at the station with flowers, balloon and wine as you can see.
it is lovely as is your quilting but it looks more like a full quilt from the photos well done to Annette & you
Hugs Janice
It does Janice, but it isn’t, it is what they call a bed scarf or runner, just over the base of the bed.
Beautiful hexies, spectacular free-motion quilting. Congratulations to Diane and Rob.
